John, was born and raised in a small southern Arkansas community until his family moved to the north central part of Arkansas where he met his wife Kenisa.
Kenisa is an RN, who was born and raised in Mountain Home Arkansas, with family roots and ties in the Calico Rock community. They met and were married in December of 2002, and God began to form their ministry together. They along with their three children Dallas (20), Katie (18) & Haleigh (15), have committed their lives and have served in Youth Ministry since 2010. In Jan. 2016, God began to shift their hearts and ministry to Pastoring, with a love and burning passion for the City and people of Calico Rock AR. They are excited about what God has spoken to them for the city of Calico Rock, and the promises He has made concerning this city.
They have seen much church growth, healings, baptisms, miracles, and people being filled with the spirit over the past 5 years. The have a love and compassion for people like no other place you have ever been, and they can’t wait to meet you!

Overcoming Hurts, habits, & hangups
Rock Recovery is focused on Changing Lanes and helping each other head in a safe direction. We ALL deal with life’s Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups. In this group, we will take a look at the cause, consequences, and the cure for our hurts, habits, and hang-ups together. You are NOT alone. This is not a “CHURCH SERVICE”, but this is a judgement free zone where we can come together to encourage each other, and look at the biblical principals that show us how to overcome our Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups.
