Lead Pastors of River Rock Church
John and Kenisa serve as the lead pastors of River Rock Church in Calico Rock, where they are passionate about sharing God’s love and helping to lead others in their walk of faith. Together along with God and an amazing ministry team, they are working to build a welcoming church that is Christ centered, family and community oriented, and one that focuses on worship and spiritual growth through discipleship.
John & Kenisa are also the proud parents to three wonderful children- Dallas, who is married to Madison, Katie, and Haleigh- who all share in their families love for ministry and service to others.
They have seen much church growth, healings, baptisms, miracles, and people being filled with the spirit over the past 7 years. They have a love and compassion for people like no other place you have ever been, and they can’t wait to meet you!
Josh & Erica Mize
Assistant/Family Pastors
Josh and Erica, along with their son Cole, now serve as the Assistant/Family pastors of River Rock Church in Calico Rock. Their heart for ministry, love for families, and passion for seeing lives transformed by the power of Jesus make them a wonderful addition to our church family.
Erica holds a Certification in Marriage and Family Therapy and has experience supporting individuals and families facing mental health challenges. She is passionate about offering faith-based guidance and encouragement rooted in biblical principles.
Josh brings his God-given gifts to life through his ministry in music and sound, using his talents to create an atmosphere where hearts are open and lives are touched. His calm spirit and Godly wisdom shine through as he encourages and advises others with grace and humility. Together with his wife, Erica, they form a beautiful partnership- her compassionate heart and insight perfectly complement his steady leadership and creative gifts. United in purpose and faith, Josh & Erica exemplify what it means to serve God together in harmony.
We are so excited to have them here at River Rock Church and we look forward to what God is doing and will continue to do through their ministry.

What is Purpose Institute?
PI is an education-based ministry training program that is designed to equip and propel the students. This training is open to anyone 16yrs and older who wants to grow in their walk with God, become a better leader, or dive deeper in your God given calling.
These classes are are Once a month for 4 months every Spring and Fall.
Cost is $120/Class and there are 4 classes offered each Semester.

Overcoming Hurts, habits, & hangups
Everyone deals with life’s Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups. In this group, we will take a look at the cause, consequences, and the cure for our hurts, habits, and hang-ups together. You are NOT alone. This is not a “CHURCH SERVICE”, but this is a judgement free zone where we can come together to encourage each other and look at the biblical principles that show us how to overcome our Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups.
Wednesdays- 5:30pm meal, 6:30pm Meeting Starts
